SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC MODELS FOR TRANSFORMING THE TOURISM INDUSTRY IN THE 21ST CENTURY

Using a methodology that includes literature review, case studies, and expert interviews, the study evaluates the economic feasibility of sustainable tourism models, highlighting their potential for increased long-term profitability, equitable benefit sharing, and reduction of negative environmental and social impacts. The study concludes that balancing economic sustainability with ethical tourism practices is essential for preserving natural and cultural resources for future generations.
